ENEFEN does 4 types of Assessments for code compliance:
DOCUMENTATION: Not sure if your DESIGN is in compliance with safety codes? When you request an evaluation our engineering team will evaluate your P&ID, bill of materials, electrical drawing of BMS, PLC, operating manual, etc., to ensure they are code compliant.
SHOP INSPECTION: Whether you are an owner wanting assurance prior to taking delivery or a manufacturer/supplier needing to show compliance, our inspector will visit the shop and provide you with compliance information on the documentation and what is currently visible.
SITE VISIT: If you have older equipment, or don't know whether the equipment on your site is code compliant, or just having trouble with your equipment, an ENEFEN inspector will go to the installation site and assess. If you don't have documents we can help you achieve them and/or provide you with drawings for upgrading.
EFFICIENCY: If you are asking yourself why a piece of equipment has to be fixed all the time or why the equipment is not meeting your expectations, we will evaluate your equipment keeping in mind:
Do You Have Credible Operating Data and Specifications?
With the advance of the Internet and computer technology, industrial plant engineers and technicians have direct access to scientific and engineering resources, and supplier information from around the globe. The challenge which they face, however, is that it is very difficult to evaluate both the validity of this information and the reliability of its source without having expertise and experience in a specific technical area.
This is especially true with combustion and thermal energy technologies, which are not widely known areas of engineering sciences. In most cases, equipment manufacturers or their representatives are the only source of information.
Another difficult challenge faced by plant engineers, is to be able to provide equipment manufacturers with credible operating data and specifications for the equipment, both from the point of view of the process data, as well as, of an up-to-date knowledge of what is achievable with modern technology. So, the big question is: WHAT SHOULD I ASK AND WHO SHOULD I ASK?
ENEFEN is not associated with any thermal energy and combustion equipment manufacturer and offers independent consulting services in this area of expertise. We have the industrial knowledge, experience and innovative investigative and measurement techniques to get the right data and to ask the right questions. We also have an in-depth knowledge of the industry to get the right answers.
