Do all of the above easily on our client portal at nfnportal.com. In addition, ENEFEN provides you with online access to your project, enabling you to see the status of your project, upload documents to the project, and download reports. We provide you with inventory list of what has been inspected and needs inspection.
Advise ENEFEN when Appliance has been commissioned
When you have an estimate of the appliance commissioning date, give us a call to schedule a Field Inspection. We will also need site contact information and site access / safety training requirements.
Receive Inspection Report, Upload Corrections to Non-conformance’s
We send out a preliminary findings email at the conclusion of the inspection. After engineering review of inspection, an email alert will be sent advising you that a report has been posted to your project at nfnportal.com. Non-conformance’s may be corrected with a photo and sign off (called POC, proof of correction) submitted to ENEFEN via the client portal at nfnportal.com.
Receive Field Approval, Inspection Report, and Rating Plate by mail
When status is Appliance Approved, ENEFEN issues a Field Approval. A printed copy of the Inspection Report and the stainless steel Rating Plate will be couriered to you. The rating plate should be adhered to the appliance in a visible and safe location for viewing by inspectors. Due to the rating plate material you can be assured that it will last 30 years or more.
A Varianceis not intended to justify non-compliance. A documented valid technical reason (VTR) is needed to vary from the Code. Price, delivery, private (plant) standards, past performance or preference cannot be considered as valid technical reasons. Variances must be approved by the AHJ. Enefen can answer your questions about variances and can help you through the process.
Compliance with CSA B149.3 Code for the Field Approval of Fuel-Related Components on Appliances and Equipment is only a part of provincial safety regulations and by itself does not make the installation legal.
