Enefen Energy Efficiency Engineering was founded by Jozef Jachniak, P.Eng., and President, and incorporated in 2003. Enefen specializes in the development of energy efficient, environmentally friendly, and safe combustion solutions for the Canadian upstream oil and gas industry. Enefen, under president Jozef Jachniak's leadership, has been instrumental in the development of industry standards related to the design, control, maintenance, and inspection of gas-fired equipment.
The company began with two engineers and offices in Alberta and British Columbia. It has grown to 6 offices, 12 employees and an Advisory Board. Field inspectors work in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
After months of hard work and extraordinary effort, Enefen in June 2013 became the first and only to be accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as an Inspection Body (IB) Type C. This accreditation creates the ability for all of Canada in our industry to have access to an Inspection Body for design and field approvals. The assurance that owners receive from an evaluation, design and field approval which has been provided by Enefen is worth the cost and phone call.
